Best AI tools that are actually useful.
I have spent hours editing videos, creating subtitles, and hiring others to do the same. Now I upload a video, enter keywords, choose format, and voila! Shorts and reels with subtitles are ready in a few minutes.
DeepL
One of my "cannot live without" tools. Translate 60 long PDF pages? Done. Any shortcuts? Yes! Ctrl+C/⌘C twice. You never have to leave your presentation to translate.
Grammarly
The reason I finished the US Berkley Developmental Psychology 1-year studies in time, with all those long academic essays. The professor said that my English is so good, whether it's a natural gift or the result of sleepless nights. It was Grammarly that did not sleep.
ElevenLabs
Ever sat in a recording studio for 5 hours and tried to speak clearly, not in your native language? I have. I still dream about it – and it's not unicorns; it's a five-nights-at-Freddys kind of dream. Well, now I have a clone, Kati, who speaks with my voice in pure English and never gets tired!
Beautiful.ai
As an enthusiastic marketer, I used to think I was a sound designer—shame on me and on those ugly visuals I created. My go-to marketing designer is Girti Suun. No AI tool can replace her. But. I work daily with presentations and creating marketing materials – that would be a waste of a brilliant designer (and money!). AI-backed presentation tool beautiful.ai is perfect for that.
OpenAI ChatGPT
People say they are using AI mainly to create content - I believe them. I see those cold, fact-based, polished posts daily. Honestly, I have never been so bored. I did it as well for some time, and you liked it. So it worked. But in the end, no dopamine for me. AI got the fame. So, in 2024, I will leave writing to myself because I like it. If you do not like writing – use AI! Just be sure to add your own thoughts and voice – more real messages, less mess.
For me, ChatGPT's true victory lies elsewhere. In GPTs. From homeschool tutors and futuristic fact-based engineers who help me write my fiction book to Meta Ads Manager agents, with whom I can talk about my real-time data and ads.
So, what if we all delegate all boring time-stealer assignments to AI tools and start creating real content – from people to people?
I might even unplug Merlin AI by Foyer, the automated commentator on LinkedIn who works for me here. No offense, Merlin – I love you, but I will use you on my YouTube. I am pretty sure I am not the only one who has commented on other people's AI-created posts just because my own AI-generated posts would spread further. My god, that system sometimes feels just so stupid, so soulless!
Anyhow! These are my time-saver tools, and I hope that in 2024, we all have more time to write authentic content, read what others are sharing, and comment on them from our hearts.
Wouldn't that be a beautiful year?
